The SPR-869 is an ultra-miniature P-V Catheter (2.0F Polyimide Nylon) suitable for use in rats. There are two pairs of platinum electrodes. The electrodes in each pair are separated by 0.5 mm. The two pairs of electrodes are separated by 6.0 mm, and the pressure sensor is located mid-way between them. The catheter has an effective length of 12.5 cm and uses a low-profile connector for the pressure sensor and a Redel connector for the volume conductance.

The catheter requires the MPVS Ultra signal conditioning unit.
