amplifier mainframe for glp studies

The tox amplifier mainframe houses up to three modules:

  1. main power supply module
  2. glp-compliant amplifier card for 6 standard ecg leads
  3. glp-compliant amplifier card for 6 precordial ecg leads (optional)

The following connectors are present on the back panel:

  • power connector
  • female 68-pin connector, for outputting signals directly from the amplifier to the acquisition card  (National Instruments' model PCI6023e). No interface box is necessary!
  • connector for ecg cable
  • "synchro out" connectors (for setups with more than one amplifier on same subject)
  • 4 BNC inputs, allowing for simultaneous acquisition of other signals such as blood pressure.
