| emkaBELT thorax and abdomen volume measurement system |
The emkaBELT thorax and abdomen volume measurement system, based on respiratory inductive plethysmography (rip) technology, monitors respiration and bronchoconstriction.
To calculate respiration using the emkaBELT, the iox acquisition and analysis system only needs to relate belt extension to respiration flow; this flow must previously be calibrated using a mask. The emkaBELT is also suitable for experiments on bronchoconstriction through the study of phase asynchrony in abdominal and thorax signals.
The emkaBELT is accurate and comfortable for subjects. It integrates fully into the emkaPACK non-invasive telemetry system, allowing you to add respiration parameters to ecg and therefore strengthen analysis possibilities.
The emkaBELT measurement system consists of:
- 2 extension belts
- 1 emkaBELT device (respiratory effort sensor)
- 1 emkaPACK (TLE-E03) telemetry transmitter
- 1 TLR-M03 receiver
- optional calibration mask kit
