single channel stimulator:
Constant current stimulator with output insulation and maximum power of 40 mA/50 V (2 W). Produces single or dual pulses. In dual pulse mode, the second pulse has the same electrical characteristics as the first pulse:
operating modes:
The stimulator can be triggered manually to deliver
- one isolated pulse or a sequence of two isolated pulses
- a train of single or dual pulses of programmable duration
This stimulator can also operate continuously.
technical data:
- Pulse width: from 1 to 10 ms
- Pulse frequency: from 0.1 to 100 Hz in 3 ranges: (0.1 to 1 Hz), (1 to 10 Hz), (10 to 100 Hz)
- Pulse shape: positive square or negative square through polarity inversion
- Delay between first and second pulse: from 0.01 to 10 s in 3 ranges: (0.01 to 0.1 s), (0.1 to 1 s), (1 to 10 s)
- Pulse train duration: from 0.01 to 100 s in 4 ranges: (0.01 to 0.1 s), (0.1 to 1 s), (1 to 10 s), (10 to 100 s)
- Oscilloscope synchronization delay: from 5 µs to 0.5 ms in 2 ranges: (5 to 50 µs), (50 µs to 0.5 ms)
operating controls:
front panel settings are:
- Operating mode (train of pulses, continuous pulse, isolated single or dual pulse)
- Oscilloscope synchronization delay
- Pulse train mode and pulse width
- Second pulse delay
- Frequency
- Polarity inversion
- Power
- Manual trigger
coupling to other equipment
This stimulator can be triggered by an external control box or by iox2 software. It also can drive the 8-channel stc8808 stimulator.
The signal from the stimulator can be amplified up to 800 mA/80 V using the 1-channel stc4050 amplifier or the 2-channel sta2808 amplifier (in this latter case, both channels are synchronized).
Dimensions: 150 x 260 x 280 mm (HxWxD).
Weight: 2.8 kg.
