Datanalyst software

Datanalyst software helps pharmacologists handle their experimental data by processing calculated and statistical parameters from files generated by IOX2 software.

This time-consuming task is fully automated by the software, that manages raw data files from an unlimited number of experiments.

Data are pooled together for batch analysis or simply for review. A fast and versatile data extraction is performed through automated protocols and presented in concise tabular format.

GLP modules can be added to provide full GLP compliance.

Interactive display and review

Datanalyst allows displaying derived parameters from various experiments, with direct access to the raw data signals.

Display can be adjusted to show and compare trends of the same parameters from different experiments, or all parameters from one experiment.

Experimental marks such “recording period”, “injection”, comments or calibration are visible, and can be used to directly access corresponding physiological data.

Fast and versatile data extraction

To process calculated and statistical parameters, Datanalyst software performs data extraction through automated protocols.
Protocols consist in a sequence of calculation tasks (minimum, maximum, average, aera under the curve, maximum derivative…) from a define treatment period, or at specific intervals of points.

For example:

Extract maximum values from each period of a dose/response curve

or “Report average values computed every 15 minutes (from a 2 minute interval), during 3 hours”.

Data extraction

Easy computation of statistics

Datanalyst software offers a variety of options to get only the significant information you need for your study.

Extracted data can be grouped before statistic computation, with subjects pooled into an unlimited number of groups.

Kinetic effects can be observed, by applying a selected criterion automatically at various time or row intervals.

Dose-response curves are automatically computed, with ED50 calculation and various fitting modes available (linear or nonlinear).

Raw data can be normalized according to reference values.

Customized data reporting

Datanalyst export options offer concise experiment reports using customized export templates.

Individual or group results can be exported in various formats (in lines for database, in tables…), grouped by subject, by parameters or by extracted points.

Reports can be printed directly from Datanalyst or exported as text files.

As SEND submission is now mandatory for single dose toxicity, repeat-dose toxicity, carcinogenicity, cardiovascular and respiratory studies, Datanalyst permits SEND formatted exports. The data can easily be exported to .xls, .csv and integrated into third-party solutions by Instem and Xybion.

GLP compliant

To comply with regulatory requirements, optional GLP modules can be activated on Datanalyst software. Data consistency, reliability and integrity are ensured by:

User management

The usersMANAGEMENT module controls the access rights by login and password.

Access rights are characterized by a level (e.g. simple user, administrator) with an optional expiry date and a logout period.

Audit trail

auditCENTRAL software collects audit lines sent to Windows event logs of all client computers and keep them into a database. Each entry in the audit trail contains a list of all actions done on emka TECHNOLOGIES programs that affect or potentially affect raw or processed data, such as the date and time of the action, the user who performed the action or the computer on which the action was performed.

Electronic signature

The eSIGN module offers encrypted electronic signatures.

Study management

studyMANAGEMENT module  associates data files to a study.
