Application Specialist/Technical sales Cardiovascular Research instrumentation
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with sales experience and a background in life sciences or engineering to join our sales team. The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent technical and communications skills. The candidate will be able to understand the needs of researchers specializing in preclinical cardiovascular research, help them develop customized solutions, and communicate the value of our line of research instruments.
Working as a emka TECHNOLOGIES Representative, you have outstanding people and organizational skills, and a desire to work in a small business environment with a focus on cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
Establishing and maintaining customers relations in life sciences laboratories
Understanding customer needs throughout and following the entire sales process
Participating in the complete sales cycle
Providing installing and training on-site or via video conferences
Representing and promoting emka products at international conferences
Travelling across Europe (30%-40%)
Qualifications
An interdisciplinary education that combines Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field
A customer focused mindset with a solid understanding of value proposition selling
A desire to foster long term relationships with customers
Sales experience with scientific research equipment or related medical field
The ability to rapidly learn highly technical information in a dynamic work environment
A talent for explaining technical details in comprehensible terms
The ability to work efficiently, both independently and in a team
Effective networking skills across disciplines and cultures
